Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong data analysis and visualization background and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft PowerBI. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively. The Developer will be expected to:

  • Design, create, and maintain interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Create and manage data models, including relationships, hierarchies, and measures to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into PowerBI. This includes working with databases, spreadsheets, and other data storage solutions.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Coach functional power users to be able to derive the full value of Power BI
  • Continuously monitor and improve PowerBI solutions for performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PowerBI reports, data models, and processes.
  • Requirements :
  • 6-8 years of experience in developing PowerBI reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to travel when required (approximately 10%)
