Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Boston, MA

Based in Boston, this is a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days in the office.

Tracksmith is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager as a central and essential part of our Marketing team. Working directly with the CMO, and other leaders across Creative, ECom, Retail, Experience — you’ll be the piece we’re missing that can help guide and deliver to the standard we’ve set for the brand.

Tracksmith’s Marketing approach and deep connection to runners is unique, bringing a deeply authentic and passionate perspective to the sport of running. The right person will absolutely have a voice as part of our team but there is huge value for that person who can bring a mastery of the fundamentals to our Marketing organization. Optimizing across multiple teams, multiple channels, setting and managing calendars and timelines, adding efficiencies through technology, process, and project management. Essentially helping set the tracks, the train schedules — ensuring we get to the stations on time, on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Marketing Systems & Process: Leading the implementation and optimization of technology platforms, meetings cadence, and project process. Streamlining workflows, SOPs, and ensuring efficient delivery of campaigns across.
  • Project Management: Overseeing and managing projects, hitting timelines and goals for the company.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: As part of this team you will also work upstream with the Product, Operations, and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • 4 years of related experience and a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices. This includes experience with various marketing channels, strategies, and tactics.
  • Proficiency in marketing technologies. Experience with marketing automation and project management platforms.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively across a range of departments and personalities. Empathetic and additive, with the presence to command.
  • Leadership and team management skills. Lead and motivate teams, delegate, negotiate, and provide guidance.
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities. Ability to contribute to and implement effective marketing strategies.
