This is a senior, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of strategic procurement, facilities, and organizational effectiveness.
The Director will serve as the single accountable leader for all procurement activity in India, act as a maker/checker partner to the India Operations function and extend North America procurement teams with data and backend support. This role will also directly manage a small team of Executive Assistants providing administrative and expense support to North America leaders.
In This Role, You Will:
Real Estate & Facilities
- Lead end-to-end real estate projects including office buildouts, fit-outs, and relocations across Gurugram, Bangalore, Jaipur and other geographies in APAC, IMEA region.
- Own space planning and seat capacity modelling, ensuring the India footprint scales in line with headcount growth and business needs.
- Manage relationships with landlords, property consultants, and design/build vendors; negotiate lease terms and renewal options.
- Serve as the internal project manager for major infrastructure projects, coordinating IT, HR, admin, and finance workstreams.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Own the full procurement lifecycle for all India office vendors: transport, cafeteria & catering, swag & branded merchandise, IT hardware and assets, furniture, insurance, and facility management services.
- Issue and manage RFPs, evaluate bids, lead commercial negotiations, and execute contracts that deliver value, quality, and compliance.
- Maintain vendor scorecards and conduct periodic performance reviews; proactively manage contract renewals, price escalations, and service SLAs.
- Oversee purchase requisition workflows and approvals in Coupa (or equivalent P2P system), ensuring policy adherence and timely processing.
- Develop and maintain a preferred-vendor panel for high-frequency spend categories, driving cost efficiency and standardization across all India locations.
- Provide end-to-end procurement support for team events, department offsites, and employee engagement initiatives across all India offices.
- Partner with Cvent’s Event Planning team to drive companywide India events such as LDO, CAKO, and leadership offsites — covering venue selection, vendor contracting, logistics, and cost management.
North America Procurement Support
- Serve as the India-based point of contact for the North America Procurement team, providing data, reporting, backend research, and contract support as required.
- Assist with vendor due diligence, market benchmarking, and spend analytics that require India-based resources or time zone coverage.
- Coordinate with global finance and procurement systems (Coupa, etc.) to ensure data integrity and reporting alignment.
Operations Governance & Liaison
- Act as a maker/checker partner to the India Operations team — reviewing deliverables, monitoring operational KPIs, and ensuring the team is performing effectively and efficiently against service standards.
- Work closely with the India Operations Director to identify process gaps, drive continuous improvement, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Monitor IT asset procurement cycles (laptops, peripherals, storage) in coordination with the IT team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Support statutory and regulatory compliance projects in India, including liaison with HR and Legal on matters such as labour law implementation, SEZ compliance, and GST-related vendor documentation.
Team Leadership – Executive Assistants, Warehousing & Order Management
- Serve as host manager for the Executive Assistant, Warehousing, and Order Management teams in India — acting as the on-ground supervisory leader for employees whose functional managers are based in North America.
- Own local administrative responsibilities in Workday include PTO, timekeeping, PIPO compliance, shift changes, and appraisal submissions; liaise regularly with North America functional leaders to stay aligned on MBOs, compensation, and performance.
- Provide real-time behavioral feedback to functional managers and act as the escalation point for all India-specific logistics — including cab issues, ID and access cards, equipment, and infrastructure — coordinating with Business Operations and IT as needed.
- Ensure hosted employees are included in office activities, team events, and companywide communications; maintain regular cadence with functional leaders in North America to stay aligned on team direction and priorities.

- Experience operating across multiple office locations, ideally in a large SaaS, technology, or professional services organization.
- Proficiency with procurement systems (Coupa or equivalent) and familiarity with finance tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with senior leadership, external vendors, and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
