AI AT CVENT: LEADING THE FUTURE

At Cvent, AI isn’t just a tool — it’s part of our DNA. We value professionals who thoughtfully integrate AI into their daily work, relying on human judgment and creativity to drive real innovation. If you love to experiment boldly and help define best practices for AI-augmented work, you’ll thrive here. Throughout our interview process, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate how you use AI to learn, iterate, and amplify your impact.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Corporate Systems is Cvent’s internal business application platform, responsible for designing, building, and operating the systems that power how revenue is captured, cash moves, people are supported, and data flows across the company. Our core corporate system platforms include Salesforce (Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience Cloud), Oracle EBS, Snowflake, Informatica, Sigma, UiPath, Coupa, Concur, Certinia, and Intellievent, along with adjacencies such as HighRadius, Kyriba, Safebooks.AI, Marketo, 6sense, Gainsight, Staircase, Chorus, Gong, Nice InContact, and ZoomInfo. We operate nine sub-functions and run simultaneous transformation programmes — and as a serial acquirer, maintain a consistent, scalable playbook for Post-Merger System Integration (PMI) — each with direct impact on revenue, customer experience, and financial integrity.

We are hiring a Corporate Systems Architect to provide the architectural leadership this complexity demands — setting the standards, patterns, and technical direction that enable our teams and partners to design, build, and scale with consistency and confidence across our application estate, data landscape, and AI capabilities.

In This Role, You Will:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Define and steward enterprise architecture

  • Own the target-state architecture across our core corporate system platforms — Salesforce (Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience Cloud), Oracle EBS, Snowflake, Informatica, Sigma, UiPath, Coupa, Concur, Certinia, and Intellievent, along with adjacencies such as HighRadius, Kyriba, Safebooks.AI, Marketo, 6sense, Gainsight, Staircase, Chorus, Gong, Nice InContact, and ZoomInfo — ensuring a coherent, well-governed, and future-ready platform estate.
  • Establish Cvent’s architectural paved road — reusable reference patterns across experience, integration, data, AI, and security that empower delivery teams and partners to design and scale with confidence. Define data contracts, cross-system impact assessment, and how quality and resilience are built in as enduring principles.

Lead AI architecture and the agentic framework

  • Own the AI orchestration and agentic framework — connecting Agentforce agents, Snowflake Cortex models, semantic layers, and business rules into a governed, production-ready ecosystem across the enterprise application estate.
  • Architect AI-enabled solutions across the Lead-to-Cash lifecycle — including Agentforce Account Summary and Next Best Action, conversational analytics agents, PS intelligent automation, and AI-driven financial governance — with data privacy and responsible AI governance embedded from the outset in partnership with the AI Governance Council and the broader IT organisation including InfoSec.

Shape Lead-to-Cash architecture across PLG, SLG, and M&A

  • Own the end-to-end Lead-to-Cash architecture — how leads are qualified and progressed, commercial terms configured, and orders, subscriptions, overages, and revenue flows modelled and governed across Salesforce CPQ, Oracle EBS, Stripe/Chargebee, Snowflake, and Gainsight — underpinning revenue integrity and financial reporting.
  • Architect PLG and SLG convergence for acquired organisations as we execute PMI — delivering repeatable, documented approaches that accelerate time-to-value with each acquisition.

Own data and integration architecture with Data Governance

  • Define master data architecture for Accounts, Contacts, Subscriptions, Contracts, Products, and Financials — establishing systems of record and data contracts across Salesforce, EBS, CVII, Marketo, and Snowflake. Partner closely with the Data Governance function to embed quality, stewardship, and lineage into platform design from the outset.
  • Set integration design standards governing pipeline architecture, schema change management, resilience patterns, and entitlement management. Collaborate with Analytics and CloudOps to advance Snowflake as the enterprise intelligence platform for analytics, BI, and AI workloads.

Lead governance, provide the architecture framework, and build the community

  • Serve as architecture owner for transformation programmes across Corporate Systems and Cvent, the overall AI portfolio, and M&A — providing the architecture framework of standards, patterns, review processes, and decision criteria that enables architects across CRM, Oracle, Snowflake, and integration domains to operate with autonomy and scale their work.
  • Drive design review (ARB) across teams and external partners. Act as trusted advisor to VP IT, CIO, and business leaders. Work closely with architects already embedded across CRM, Oracle, and Snowflake environments — co-owning direction, raising collective standards, and contributing to talent strategy as the architecture community grows.

Here's What You Need:

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 15–20+ years in enterprise or corporate systems architecture, owning large-scale CRM, ERP, and data platform transformations in complex, global B2B environments.
  • Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise: Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience Cloud — Apex, integration patterns, security model, org design, and Agentforce configuration and governance.
  • Solid Oracle EBS knowledge: GL, AR/AP, billing and revenue flows, and the patterns connecting Salesforce commercial data to EBS invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial controls.
  • Meaningful Snowflake architecture experience — schema design, semantic and data contract layers, Cortex and AI capabilities, and how DWH design choices shape analytics and AI workloads.
  • Integration and MDM depth with Informatica or comparable platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Tray) and a strong understanding of resilient, observable pipeline architecture across complex application landscapes.
  • Practical experience designing agentic architectures — LLM grounding and retrieval, multi-agent orchestration, human-in-the-loop design, and governance frameworks that scale across an enterprise.
  • The ability to build architecture frameworks that enable distributed teams to make consistent, high-quality design decisions — and to communicate trade-offs clearly to Finance, CS, and RevOps leaders.
  • Proven Senior Director track record owning cross-functional programmes and influencing senior stakeholders. Salesforce Architect certifications strongly preferred. Snowflake, Oracle EBS, TOGAF a plus.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (12–24 MONTHS):

  1. A North Star architecture for Corporate Systems — spanning transformation programmes, Lead-to-Cash, the AI portfolio, and M&A — actively used as the authoritative reference by delivery teams and partners.
  2. An architecture framework in place that enables architects across CRM, Oracle, Snowflake, and integration domains to make consistent, high-quality design decisions independently and at scale.
  3. A governed AI and agentic architecture with high-impact solutions in production across the Lead-to-Cash lifecycle, with clear data contracts, observable behaviour, and measurable business outcomes.
  4. A Corporate Systems architecture community recognised for technical depth, shared design culture, and a consistently high standard of quality across all sub-functions and programmes.
