In This Role, You Will:
As a Senior Product Manager specialising in Payments, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative payment solutions that enable seamless, secure, and scalable transactions for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, marketing, sales, finance, legal and go-to-market—to deliver global products that delight users, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business growth. This is a highly visible role requiring global payments expertise, technical fluency, and a passion for customer-centric innovation and growth.
In this role, you will:
- Own and articulate the product vision and roadmap for Cvent payment products, ensuring alignment with company goals, evolving market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to expand our payment capabilities across the Cvent ecosystem through new products and/or partnerships
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, problem definition, opportunity sizing, prioritization, development, launch, and ongoing iteration.
- Represent the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and translating customer needs and insights into actionable product opportunities.
- Define and analyse key metrics to measure customer and product success, leveraging data-driven decision making to inform strategy and prioritisation.
- Collaborate closely with tech and non-tech stakeholders to deliver high-quality, global payment solutions on time.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and technology trends, regulatory changes, and emerging payments technologies to inform product direction.
- Leverage AI to identify and solve customer problems, enhance product capabilities and improve decision-making processes.
- Identify key opportunities to use AI to externalise event payment capabilities and support AI-initiated workflows.
- Evangelise the payments products internally and externally, representing Cvent at customer meetings, industry events, and online communities.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
- 13 to 18 years of total experience with 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful payment products at scale.
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including roles involved, payment processors, global payment methods, networks, risk/fraud management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; comfortable working with large data sets and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
- Passion for building products that solve real customer problems and drive measurable business impact.
- Experience in SaaS, cloud, or large-scale B2B software environments.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies in the payments space.
- Must have experience with payments platforms, global payments, digital wallets, and/or e-commerce platforms.
