Cvent’s Global Demand Center manages the technology, processes and data that generate leads and demand for Cvent’s suite of products. We are an internal shared services agency housing digital, email, web, and database marketing as well as full lifecycle campaign and program management and execution.
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Team lead, Marketing Data & Insights who will support the Database Marketing efforts through strategic recommendations, insights, and action plans that yield higher, and more quality, conversion. This role will help drive critical business decisions by analyzing key marketing metrics and designing reports.
In This Role, You Will:
- Serve as a key liaison with internal teams to define requirements, scope, and timelines, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data and insights for projects
- Own the interpretation of campaign and funnel data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports and recommendations to regional and product‑focused marketing teams
- Report on marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, marketing attribution, pipeline contribution, and marketing engagement, ensuring stakeholders have a clear and consistent view of performance
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting & analytics framework, dashboards, and other BI solutions
- Use both qualitative and quantitative methods and tools to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Translate data into viable business recommendations, present findings, and actionable insights to marketing leadership and other stakeholders
- Promote data fluency across the organization by documenting standards and leading training sessions on marketing data, reporting, and KPI definitions
Here's What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience working with databases, data analysis, and reporting, preferably in a B2B or SaaS marketing environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data manipulation, model building, and quality checks
- Comfortable presenting data and findings to stakeholders at various levels, including non‑technical audiences.
- Experience leading projects/initiatives in a professional setting
- Knowledge of SQL or other enterprise-grade database systems preferred
- Knowledge of the implementation, measurement and optimization of marketing campaigns is required
- Data visualization experience in BI tools (Tableau/Sigma), Excel, PowerPoint and other related tools will be a plus
- Solid understanding of marketing and CRM platforms and the lead‑to‑opportunity cycle
- Self‑motivated and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency
