Cvent’s Global Demand Center is seeking an organized, strategic, and analytical marketing professional to join our marketing team as an audience targeting specialist. Our ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with a passion for marketing operations, understanding of how personalization in marketing campaigns is key, and interest in discovering new ways to solve the needs of the business.

In this role on the Marketing Data & Insights team, you will: serve as an audience targeting expert, analyze marketing program performance, and operationalize how we “go to market” across all channels. We are looking for an individual with excellent technical and communication skills that thrives in a collaborative environment, who is willing to build relationships and get things done, and demonstrated experience with AI in the workplace. While attention to detail is crucial, the ability to be flexible, think quickly on your feet, and fully understand dependencies and the “big picture” is also important.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Market/Audience Segmentation and the “Ideal Customer Profile”
  • Support TAM, SAM, ICP, and buyer persona research and documentation
  • Analyze customer, prospect, and behavioral data to refine and maintain Cvent’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) globally, using a wide variety of reporting techniques such as, but not limited to, excel pivots, AI agents and basic SQL queries.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to define and evolve target audience segments for alwayson and campaignbased marketing programs by analyzing past and current customer data.
  • Assist in identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and segmentation opportunities across systems using AI queries and agents.
  • Audience First Strategy, Consultation, & Usage
  • Use data, insights, and AI to enable marketing campaign owners to personalize their campaigns to the audience segments we define (getting us to the right message at the right time to the right person) by providing audience recommendations and supporting analysis.
  • Prepare clear summaries, charts, and analyses for internal stakeholders
  • Translate analytical findings into simple, actionable takeaways
  • Assist in documenting standard audience definitions and segmentation logic
  • Reduce time to market (TAT) in our daily operations and improve conversion rates along the customer journey.
  • Support presentations and documentation used by marketing teams
  • Audience Data Enablement & Governance
  • Ensure target contact lists are consistent, accurate, and compliant across marketing systems.
  • Learn how audience data is used in AI-enabled marketing tools such as predictive scoring and personalization
  • Educate the marketing department on the best practices and guidelines for direct sales and marketing regulations globally.

Here's What You Need:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing data operations, marketing analytics, business analytics, consulting or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI in the workplace
  • Familiarity with audiences, segmentation, and marketing-owned communications strategy

  • Comfort working with data sets and basic analysis tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
