In This Role, You Will:
The Team Lead – Social Media plays a pivotal role in transforming Cvent’s organic social presence into a
credible, people-powered storytelling ecosystem that drives engagement, visibility, and brand trust.
Based in India, this role partners with the US-based Corporate Communications leadership team to craft
and publish content for Cvent’s owned social channels, manage social reputation and engagement,
and proactively monitor and optimize brand performance metrics.
This is a high-impact individual contributor position requiring exceptional creativity, writing precision,
and the ability to balance brand authority with human authenticity. The ideal candidate has a strategic
understanding of the B2B social environment and a creative instinct for bringing complex, marketing-
first content to life (i.e. transforming customer success stories, event moments, marketing campaigns
and corporate narratives into relatable, scroll-stopping social content that people genuinely want to
engage with).

efficiency, insight, and innovation in everyday social workflows.
Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Channel Excellence
• Lead end-to-end creation, localization, and publishing of branded organic social content across
Cvent’s primary channels (LinkedIn/Instagram as the primary platforms; Facebook and X as
secondary, TikTok expertise also required).
• Write high-impact, channel-native copy aligned with Cvent’s US brand voice and audience
expectations while ensuring cultural and regional relevance.
• Take a creative, editorial approach to transforming traditional B2B content and turning complex
or product-driven topics into compelling stories that spark curiosity and stop the scroll.
• Use Cvent-approved AI tools to ideate, refine, and scale content efficiently — from headlines
and short-form posts to carousel concepts.
• Maintain editorial calendars, approvals, and publishing workflows; ensure UTM and tagging
consistency across all campaigns.
• Leverage online creative tools like Canva and partner with internal creative resources to elevate
graphic/video design quality and visual storytelling that aligns with corporate branding.
Employee Advocacy Enablement (Oktopost)
• Curate and publish employee advocacy posts via Oktopost with accurate tagging and UTMs;
Keep the advocacy content library fresh and aligned to current campaigns and themes.
• Partner with regional and functional teams to source advocate‑ready content; run enablement
cadences in Slack/team channels (tips, curated picks, shout‑outs, quick wins).
• Coordinate with the Social Media Manager on cohort pilots (e.g., gamified groups) and platform
best practices; maintain advocacy process docs and guidelines.
AI-Driven Optimization & Insights
• Leverage AI-driven social listening and trend monitoring to surface relevant industry
conversations and emerging content themes for brand engagement opportunities.
• Use AI to synthesize post or campaign performance data into insights and recommendations
that drive smarter content planning.
Campaign Activation & Brand Storytelling
• Execute social components of flagship brand campaigns and events (e.g., Cvent CONNECT,
Accelerate, and Cvent Top Lists), coordinating across creative, PR, and field marketing.
• Capture and repurpose real-time moments and user-generated content into high-performing
social assets.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure cohesive campaign amplification across
markets.
Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Measure and report social performance via Oktopost, Adobe, and platform native analytics.
• Present monthly social impact summaries highlighting wins, learnings, and future experiments.
• Recommend iterative testing plans (copy tone, timing, creative format) informed by
performance data and AI insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
• Partner closely with Corp Comm, Creative and Field Marketing teams to align messaging and
maintain consistent brand standards.
• Support adherence to governance standards — including UTM hygiene, channel bios, and social
process documentation.
• Occasionally collaborate with advocacy, sales, client services, customer marketing, or leadership
enablement initiatives to provide social expertise or adapt brand content for those programs.
Executive Thought Leadership Growth
• Support senior executives’ LinkedIn presence by shaping content pillars, drafting posts in‑voice,
coordinating cadence/approvals, and packaging timely moments from events, media, and
campaigns.
• Track content‑type trends and engagement signals at the profile level and summarize guidance
Here's What You Need:
- Qualifications
• 5–7 years of organic social experience supporting a US-based or global B2B brand.
• Social platform fluency (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X), and analytics competency.
• Proven record driving publishing, advocacy, social listening/ORM, approvals, and reporting in a
fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder setting.
• Demonstrated use of AI in social workflows (e.g., content generation, listening insights,
optimization).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills (clear, concise, and adaptable across formats and channels)
• Strong understanding of social media ecosystems: corporate channels, employee advocacy,
executive visibility, and customer amplification.
• Strong partnership skills with PR, field marketing, creative/video, analytics/web, and agency
stakeholders; ability to take feedback and incorporate it quickly, while maintaining brand voice.
• Experience with Oktopost, UTM.io, Wrike, and analytics tools (Adobe, native) a plus.
