Cvent’s Enterprise Services team is seeking a motivated student intern to support our Windows Endpoint management operations. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience managing enterprise-scale Windows environments using Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Group Policy, and modern endpoint management tools. You’ll work alongside senior engineers to maintain and optimize Windows workstations supporting a global workforce while learning industry best practices for enterprise endpoint engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields who want to gain practical experience in enterprise systems administration and endpoint management.
In This Role, You Will:
# Windows Endpoint Management Assist with day-to-day SCCM/MECM operations including software deployments, patch management, and imaging
# Help maintain and update Windows 10/11 operating system images and task sequences
# Support Windows 11 migration efforts by testing and validating upgrade packages
# Create and manage software packages and applications within SCCM
# Monitor SCCM health checks, client status, and compliance reports Security & Compliance Support deployment and maintenance of security agents (CrowdStrike, Tenable, Netskope)
# Assist with Windows update and patch compliance monitoring and remediation
# Help track device compliance status and generate reports for management
# Support BitLocker encryption deployment and recovery key management Automation & Scripting. # Learn to create and maintain PowerShell scripts for endpoint management tasks
# Assist with automating routine maintenance and compliance checks
# Help develop reporting tools to track device status and compliance metrics
# Contribute to documentation of processes and procedures Device Lifecycle
# Management Support new device provisioning and autopilot enrollment processes
# Assist with device inventory management and asset tracking
# Help identify and remediate inactive or non-compliant devices
# Support device retirement and data removal processes Technical Environment

# Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology
Management Information Systems, or related technical field
# Completion of at least sophomore year (or equivalent credits)
# Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and computer networking
# Familiarity with Active Directory concepts (users, groups, organizational units)
# Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
# Eagerness to learn enterprise IT systems and best practices
# Good communication skills for working with technical teams
# Ability to follow technical documentation and standard operating procedures
##Preferred Qualifications##
# Previous internship or work experience in IT support or systems administration
# Hands-on experience with Windows Server or SCCM in academic or lab environments
# Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
# Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
# Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
# Knowledge of security concepts and endpoint protection tools
# Relevant coursework in systems administration, networking, or cybersecurity
# CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications (not required but beneficial)
