As the Senior Vice President/Vice President, Corporate Marketing, you will lead the strategic vision and execution across all facets of Cvent’s corporate brand. This executive role is responsible for driving unified brand strategy and excellence across the company that elevates Cvent’s profile with customers, partners, media, and the broader industry. The scope of this role includes brand strategy and enablement, creative strategy and implementation, thought leadership, corporate communications, events, social media, and more. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
In This Role, You Will:
Brand Strategy & Creative Leadership
- Own and evolve Cvent’s corporate brand positioning, architecture, and identity to achieve our growth, customer experience and employee engagement priorities.
- Ensure brand consistency across channels, experiences, and touchpoints globally.
- Oversee in-house and agency creative teams in delivering high-impact campaigns, content, and resources.
- Champion a culture of creativity and excellence in visual and narrative storytelling.
Corporate Communications
- Lead integrated, proactive communications strategies—including PR, strategic communications, crisis management, social media, and executive platforming.
- Cultivate strong relationships with media, analysts, and key industry stakeholders.
Events
- Oversee the global strategy, design, and execution for flagship corporate and industry events (in-person and digital), including Cvent’s annual user conference.
- Partner cross-functionally to maximize event impact and brand integration.
Thought Leadership, Community & Influencer Marketing
- Develop and amplify Cvent’s thought leadership agenda
- Support our influencer, community and advocacy programs, building relationships with key opinion leaders, analysts, and industry advocates.
Measurement & Optimization:
- Implement comprehensive performance metrics for all programs.
- Analyze market and audience insights to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.
Team Leadership & Budgeting:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing multi-disciplinary team.
- Oversee departmental budget, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
- 15+ years’ experience in progressive corporate marketing leadership, including executive roles in SaaS/tech industry.
- Ability to demonstrate an experience-focused approach to every interaction point—from events to in product to customer service to marketing and more.
- Deep experience envisioning and managing large and small-scale events end to end across international markets—from strategic planning, to logistics, onsite content and experience, post event lead and follow up—with full P&L ownership.
- Highly adept in creatively optimizing budgets and ROI and even influencing new revenue streams.
- Highly skilled in executive communications, thought leadership, community development, and influencer engagement.
- Remarkable experience working in Art Direction and Creative Director roles
- Demonstrated success architecting brand and corporate communications strategies at scale.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor senior-level talent.
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making style.
- Highly collaborative; able to align cross-functional teams globally.
