About you and the role:
You’re eager to join an early-stage team passionate about building and launching products that meaningfully improve people’s lives. You’re curious, resilient, and a strong team player who enjoys navigating ambiguity. You’re energized by the chance to work across a range of business needs — from operations to marketing to user insights, and you take ownership from idea to execution. You move quickly and understand that sometimes done is better than perfect. This role blends marketing, user feedback, daily operational execution, and lightweight reporting — supporting a product manager and helping drive the business forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute and streamline operational processes by identifying bottlenecks and building lightweight, repeatable workflows — automating where possible
  • Write and produce marketing content to support Solo's fintech offering
  • Own growth and efficiency metrics, spotting trends and surfacing recommendations
  • Apply analytical and quantitative thinking using SQL or Excel to inform decisions and improve processes
  • Drive the feedback loop between operations and product by engaging directly with customers, synthesizing their insights, and helping prioritize feedback against the product roadmap
  • Contribute across the business — no task too small, no project too ambiguous — as we build from the ground up

You may be a fit for this role if you:

  • Have experience operating in a startup or high urgency environment
  • Enjoy being a generalist and jumping between launches, partnerships, marketing and operations to move the business forward
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and bias toward action — you take pride in simply getting things done
  • Are a self-starter who can operate independently when needed
  • Naturally put yourself in the shoes of our users and can help craft the right message and tone
  • Have a low ego and are comfortable engaging in candid discussion about the company and its direction
  • Have familiarity with fintech or financial services and are excited to learn the nuances of a regulated environment

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in operations, marketing, growth, consulting, account management or similar roles — ideally in a startup or fast-growing company
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations where priorities and problem sets can shift rapidly
  • Strong decision making instincts with the ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs based on the business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across internal and external audiences
  • Ability to collaborate with team members of all levels and focus areas
  • Comfort working with data, identifying insights, and translating them into clear recommendations. SQL a strong advantage
  • Exposure to fintech, financial services, or banking environments — a plus
