This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.

What you'll do with us:

  • Owning end-to-end design process—problem discovery, scoping, map user flows wireframe concepts, and pixel perfect handoffs to product/eng

  • You will partner with your pod (product manager/engineers) to scope project work, define design process, and timeline.

  • We work in Figma, you’re proficient in Figma or able to learn it rapidly

    • Build & testing prototypes

    • Managing and overseeing structured design files and work spaces

    • Contribute to the design system

What will set you apart:

  • Can frame strong rationales for design decisions and persuade peers and executives

    • Design decisions calibrated by research and data

    • Strong collaborator with product managers, engineering teams, and fellow designers

    • Communicates concisely with both pixel and words

  • Systems thinker: Able to see the big picture, understanding how various elements of a system are interconnected and influence each other

  • Demonstrates deep understanding and alignment of business goals, competitive landscape, and user needs

  • Proven ability to both work within and enhance design systems

  • Demonstrate current knowledge of product design trends and best practices

  • Track record of leading projects that have shipped across web and mobile

  • Minimum 5 years experience in product design

  • Experience in:

    • Consumer/luxury product design

    • Data visualization

    • Fintech

    • Work flow UI and funnels

    • Content management systems
