Position Summary

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will play a crucial role in developing a hybrid color matching algorithm that combines physical models and machine learning approaches. This algorithm will be integral to our product development process, ensuring that our cosmetic products provide the perfect color match for diverse skin tones.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for building our in-house color-matching algorithms
• You will assist in developing experimental measurement protocols and in digitizing the results.
• Ship stable, high-quality code to which you are proud to be a contributor
• Deliver excellent software through comprehensive peer-reviews, CI, and automated testing
• Able to communicate effectively to stakeholders

Key Candidate Requirements

• You love algorithms and new technology. You are also a great team worker and a great communicator in French and English.
• Experience with Python, along with common libraries such as Numpy / Pandas / Polar
• Experience in Rust would be a plus
• Experience building Restful APIs
• A knack for writing clean, readable and maintainable code
• Eager to implement automated functional / unit tests and documentation
