The Role
As a Marketing Generalist at Fancy, you will be hands-on across a wide range of marketing activities that support brand growth, acquisition, and engagement for renters, property managers, and advertisers. This role is ideal for a versatile marketer who enjoys being involved in many facets of execution from content and email to social media, paid campaigns, event support, and partner marketing.
You will collaborate closely with leadership, product, and the partnerships team to help strengthen Fancy’s brand presence, support multi-audience campaigns, and build the foundational marketing systems that scale as the company grows. What You’ll Do
Execute multi-channel marketing activities across email, social, paid, content, and community.
Develop clear messaging and assets tailored for renters (B2C) as well as property managers and advertisers (B2B).
- Support content creation including blogs, landing pages, paid ads, emails, case studies, and partner materials.
- Assist with campaign setup and reporting across platforms (HubSpot, Google Analytics, ad channels, etc.).
- Coordinate with the Partnerships team to support go-to-market materials for property managers and advertisers.
- Assist in managing Fancy’s brand presence across digital channels.
- Help run experiments and track performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Organize campaigns, maintain calendars and assets, and support overall marketing operations.
- Partner with peers within the Revenue org to support in-app messaging and lifecycle communications.
- Contribute to market research across fintech, proptech, and advertising landscapes.
- Support event promotion and strategy, thought leadership, and community initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience in a startup, B2B fintech/proptech, or B2C environment.
- Experience executing campaigns across email, social, content, and/or digital performance channels.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills — able to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content.
- Comfort with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, social analytics).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive.
- Interest in fintech, the rental ecosystem, or consumer app landscape.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

- Be a creative leader, or creative thinker, and able to drive strategy.
- Have experience optimizing paid ads or lifecycle campaigns.

The salary range for a Marketing Generalist is $85,000 – $120,000.
